Shots fired at a home in Petit Cap

PETIT CAP, N.B.– Southeast District RCMP are investigating an incident where shots were fired at a home in Petit Cap, N.B.

At approximately 4:30 a.m. on July 9, 2014, RCMP responded to a complaint of shots fired towards a home and a vehicle on the same property on Dosithe Street, off of Route 950.

Three people were in the home at the time. No one was injured, but one shot entered a bedroom of the home where a two-year-old was sleeping.

RCMP are looking for a mid-sized, dark coloured car that was seen in the area around the time of the incident. Anyone who was travelling along route 950 in the Petit Cap area between 4 and 5 a.m. and saw any unusual activity or a vehicle matching this description is asked to contact to Shediac RCMP at 506-533-5151 or Crime Stoppers at or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
