Sackville’s 22nd annual Curl for Cancer fundraiser will be held at the local curling club on Saturday, Feb. 2.

Thirty teams have registered for the event, which is held to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society New Brunswick. Over 120 people are involved in this fundraiser and the public is welcome to come to the club and enjoy the action, live entertainment, food and fundraising to help in the fight against cancer.

An estimated two in five Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.  The funds raised by the curlers in the Sackville Curl for Cancer will go towards cancer research, prevention initiatives and support programs for people living with cancer in New Brunswick.

For more information or to make a donation call Paulette McNally 536-4728 or Gloria Turner 536-1113.
