As the next phase in the Go Transpo project, EOS Eco-Energy Inc., in collaboration with the Westmorland Albert Community Inclusion Network Co-operative Ltd. is inviting area residents to attend a Go Transpo action planning workshop on Feb. 26.
The purpose of the workshop is to create a collaborative action plan to improve community transportation in the local region based on the recommendations in the Go Transpo feasibility study. During the workshop, the results of the Go Transpo feasibility study will be presented and participants from across the region will work together to identify key action items and create a framework for working together on community transportation. This workshop will provide a basis for communities to continue to work together to improve transportation for their residents.
The workshop is open to the public and will include participants from across the region. Anyone interested in participating in the workshop or who would like to know more about the Go Transpo project, can contact the project coordinator at gotranspo@gmail.com or 506-536-4487.
