Area residents are being urged to join their community in starting conversations, sharing knowledge and taking action on climate change.
Sackville will be raising awareness throughout Climate Change Week from March 9-16.
The week is a collaborative initiative with events being hosted by groups from all across the community. Events are being kicked off with a public screening of Climate Change in Atlantic Canada at the Vogue Theatre at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.
The rest of the week will feature information booths and displays around town, opportunities to pledge one’s personal commitment to climate change action, specials and promotions at downtown businesses, workshops and presentations, kids events and more.
