Canadian Cancer Society volunteers in Sackville are presently arranging pre-orders with businesses as part of their annual daffodil fundraising campaign. This has been a tradition over the years as an initial step in this very worthwhile campaign. Funds raised from this campaign are invested in cancer research, prevention and support programs for people living with cancer in New Brunswick and advocating for policies that protect the health of New Brunswickers,
Sales begin at Save-Easy on March 20 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and continue on March 21 and 22 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Also, sales of Daffodils will be held at Co-op on March 20 and March 21 at the same times. Daffodils are sold in bundles of 10 for $8 a bundle. Area residents are urged to come out and support this great cause and bring home a bundle of cheer. Campaign coordinators Audrey Hicks and Mary Chase want to thank the many volunteers and to thank residents for their support.
