Crime Stoppers

New Brunswick Crime Stoppers and the Government of New Brunswick have joined forces to make schools and communities safer with a new Crime Stoppers program for students.

The program offers high school and college students a confidential and anonymous medium to report crimes without fear of reprisal or retaliation. It encourages students who may have information on a criminal activity that has occurred or is about to happen to call Crime Stoppers.

Students can play a big role in reporting crimes like theft, vandalism, threats and bullying, sexual and physical assault, drug possession and trafficking, weapon possession, and misuse of fire alarms. Reporting such crimes can help ensure safety and integrity in schools and communities.

Anyone with information on a criminal activity can report it anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.crimenb.ca.

Students can also text a tip by texting 'TIP212 plus your message' to CRIMES (274637) on your mobile device. Standard text messaging rates may apply based on the subscriber's plan with their mobile phone carrier.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
