Canadian Cancer Society volunteers in Sackville are currently busy arranging pre-orders with area businesses as part of their annual daffodil fundraising campaign.

This fundraiser has been a tradition throughout the years as an initial step in this very worthwhile campaign.

All of the funds that are raised through this annual campaign are invested into cancer research, prevention and support programs for people living with cancer in the province of New Brunswick, and also in advocating for policies that protect the health of New Brunswickers.

Organizers have also been busy ensuring sales will begin at both the Sackville Save Easy and Sackville Co-op on Wednesday, Mar. 26, at 9 a.m., where daffodils will be available in bundles of 10 for only $8 a bundle.

Sackville and area residents are being urged to come out and support this great cause, while also bringing home a bundle of cheer.

Campaign coordinators Mary Chase, Chris Embree, Diane Minshul and Audrey Hicks want to thank the many volunteers and Sackville and area residents for their ongoing support.
