The 17th Memramcook Show-N-Shine antique car show will be held on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Memramcook Institute located at 488 Centrale Street in Memramcook.
It’s an activity for the whole family, which features oldies music, a barbecue and draws, in addition of course, to admiring the magnificent antique cars, tractors, snowmobiles, etc. on site.
During the day, tickets will be sold on great prizes. Last year there were 338 registered cars and $10 250.45 was raised for the Melissa and Friends Foundation. Organizer Paul Belliveau says the reason for the show's success is its location. The car owners enjoy the site and they keep coming back every year.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted for the Melissa and Friends Foundation Inc., a local organization that helps families who need to seek medical treatment outside the local area.
