SACKVILLE, N.B. – Perpetual Motion Dance Studio will be holding an open house during their fall registration this Saturday, Sept. 6 from 1 to 5 p.m. at their studio, upstairs at the Sackville Curling Club.

This open house provides an opportunity for residents of all ages to come and visit the studio, get information on the classes, register for the fall season, meet some of the teaching staff and members of the Perpetual Motion Dance Troupe.

There will be treats and coffee on hand as well as free trial classes for children 10 and up and teens in lyrical and street jazz between 2-4 p.m. Free trial classes will continue for the week of Sept. 6-13. All are welcome. Please dress in dancewear or shorts and T`s.

Perpetual Motion Dance Studio (PMDS) is offering a full schedule of dance styles and levels this year for children ages 3 and up as well as teens and adults. Classes include ballet, modern, jazz, street-jazz, stretch and strength, hip hop and creative movement.  There is also an all-boys hip hop class being offered called Dudes Hip Hop.

PMDS is home to the Perpetual Motion Dance Troupe (PMST).  PMDT offers members at least two competition opportunities a year as well as multiple performing opportunities. The troupe is interested in performing for fundraising activities for the community. Any dancers, ages 10 and up, can make the decision to join the troupe.  There are no auditions, and no dancers will be excluded. Visit the Facebook page at Perpetual Motion Dance Studio for more information or contact Renée Rioux at (506) 204-8282 or via email at
