April is daffodil month, which means that Canadian Cancer Society volunteers will be out in full force, canvassing neighborhoods in the Sackville area as part of the annual residential campaign.

The residential canvass is one of the society's longest running and most successful fundraising events.

Funds raised through canvassing enable the society to continue to fund research on all types of cancer; offer comprehensive and credible information on cancer, treatment and risk reduction; provide support for people living with cancer, their family members and friends.

Canvassing in local neighborhoods also helps the Canadian Cancer Society enhance its presence in the community by providing information about its programs and services.

Thank you for your support. Together, we can make cancer history!

For more information about the residential campaign in your neighborhood, please call Andrew Marshall, Sackville area coordinator at 536-4532 or you may call the Canadian Cancer Society New Brunswick at 1-800-455-9090.
