Sackville will soon enhance its website to offer entrepreneurs a quick and easy tool that can help simplify their business' start-up or expansion.
Warren Maddox, director of the community economic development, said his department is planning to include a link on the sackville.com website for BizPal, an online service provided by Service New Brunswick that simplifies the permit and license process for business owners.
BizPal provides entrepreneurs with "one-stop" access to permit and license information, along with a list of contacts, required by all levels of government for start-up or expansion plans.
"The biggest surprise is that this hasn't been done before (in Sackville)," said Maddox.
He said town staff will gather and organize the needed information at the municipal level for permits and licenses, and will then apply to Service New Brunswick to place a free link on the town website.
