Local man dies in farming accident

On Sept. 9, 2008, District 4 RCMP were called to the scene of an industrial accident at Timber River, N.B., where a large bale of hay had fallen from a truck injuring a male worker in his 50s.

On Sept. 9, 2008, District 4 RCMP were called to the scene of an industrial accident at Timber River, N.B., where a large bale of hay had fallen from a truck injuring a male worker in his 50s.
The male, whose name is not being released, was transported to Sackville Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Workplace Health Safety and Compensation Commission and the Coroner's Office were called in to assist with the investigation.
No foul play is suspected.
