Two Sackville residents sustained minor injuries when they were robbed in their home last week.
Just before midnight on Friday, May 22 three males armed with a handgun entered a residence on Crossman Road; an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
Sgt. Harry Brown of the RCMP District 4 in Shediac said Tuesday that members of its General Investigation Section, in conjunction with the Sackville RCMP, are currently investigating one lead and are also asking for the public's assistance.
"Right now it appears that robbery was the motive for this home invasion," Brown said.
One of the suspects is described as African-American, approximately 5'9" tall with a stocky build, mustache and a shaved head; and wearing a beige shirt.
Brown noted there is no threat posed for area residents with regards to the incident.
"I'm comfortable in saying that at this time the general public is not in danger," he said.
Any persons who may have information pertaining to this crime are asked to contact call District 4 RCMP at (506) 533-5151 or N.B. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
