Crime Stoppers and New Brunswick RCMP Federal Operations are asking the public to be vigilant and report any information they may have about possible indoor marihuana grow operations in New Brunswick.
With winter upon us, criminals move their illegal operations indoors. These types of operations can pose significant risks to areas in which they are located, such as increased criminal activity and risks of fire and toxic chemical exposure. The police continue to focus on disrupting and dismantling these activities, and they ask that the public help protect New Brunswick children, youth and communities.
Anyone with information concerning indoor marihuana production in their neighbourhood can contact Crime Stoppers at www.crimenb.ca or call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Only the information is wanted, not the informant’s name, and if the information leads to an arrest they qualify for a cash award of up to $2,000.
