FREDERICTON, N.B. – The provincial government has reached a tentative collective agreement with the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees which represents technical inspection, laboratory and medical bargaining groups.
These groups include about 270 employees performing assessment work at Service New Brunswick; working in technical inspection roles at Public Safety, Health, Social Development, and Transportation and Infrastructure; and laboratory technologists at Environment and Local Government, and Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries.
“I thank the bargaining teams for their work in reaching this tentative agreement,” said Human Resources Minister Troy Lifford. “We now await the results of the employees' ratification vote, and will withhold details of the agreement until that process is complete.”
