The RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit has arrested and charged a 32-year-old Moncton man with making and possessing child pornography. He has also been charged with voyeurism.
Jeffery Adam Amos was charged in Moncton Provincial Court on Feb. 8, 2013, with two counts of making child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography, and two counts of voyeurism.
The charges are in connection with incidents alleged to have occurred at a residential daycare on Frampton Lane in Moncton starting in February 2012. Police are in the process of contacting the families of children that attended the residential daycare during the past year. At this time police have identified two victims.
The Internet Child Exploitation Unit started the investigation in October 2012 as the result of a complaint. As part of the investigation police seized computers and data storage equipment.
Amos has been remanded and is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 11, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.
