On May 12, 2010, District 4 South East RCMP, with the assistance of the J Division Integrated Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Sackville.
Investigators discovered electronic images of child pornography during the search. At this point of the investigation there is no indication that any local children were the subjects of the images.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in the home and has since been released on a number of conditions.
The investigation is ongoing.
@WONDERFUL109 I agree with you 100% that people like this 24 year old man are definately one of the worst types of people in society. However, should we really "remove" these people from society? Where do you suggest they go? Prison ? I'm pretty sure prison is still a part of our society.Maybe we should just euthanize everyone who doesn't meet your standard as a good person? Should we build an island and put all pedophiles and "dopies", on it? I think these pedophiles, and not even saying this guy was a pedophile, should be examined and try to be cured of their disease, could you imagine if this was your son or loved one? would you feel the same way? I don't know. What I do know however, is that uninformed people like yourself who "shoot first ask questions later" may not be "the worst quality of people" but you most certainly do not help bring understanding and compassion to our society. ......
