Winter is a season when many people notice an unavoidable jump in their electrical bill. There are many ways people can cut these costs by being energy efficient, and the first step to doing this is by understanding how homes use energy.
On Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre, Efficiency New Brunswick will be hosting a public workshop entitled How to Improve the Energy Efficiency of Your Home and Apartment Building. Local residents will have an opportunity to learn how to save energy and money, and more specifically how Efficiency New Brunswick can help in the process through financial incentives.
