Haute Aboujagane, N.B. – Members of the Southeast RCMP dismantled a grow-op and seized more than 200 marihuana plants in a wooded area between Memramcook and Haute Aboujagane last Friday (Aug. 2).
Police say the plants were growing with the help of a sophisticated irrigation system. They could have produced approximately 100,000 marihuana cigarettes.
The dismantling of marihuana cultivation sites is an ongoing strategy by police to rid our communities of illegal drugs.
Anyone with information about marihuana grow-ops is asked to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at www.crimenb.ca or 1-800-222-8477.
