Staff at the Sackville Memorial Hospital are organizing a pancake breakfast this Saturday to do their part in contributing to the hospital foundation’s latest campaign.

Jessica Brooks and Jennifer Duguay, staff captains, have been working hard over the past few weeks seeking donations and volunteers for the breakfast as well as baked goods for a bake sale.

“We are very excited about this fundraiser and hope local residents support us by attending the breakfast,” says Brooks.

The breakfast runs from 8-11a.m. on Saturday, May 3, and is being held in the Sackville Memorial Hospital cafeteria. Tickets are $7 and $5 for children 12 and under and are available at the door or by purchasing at the SMH administrative office.

Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, baked beans, toast, bacon, hash browns, and gluten-free options are available.

Money raised with support the Let’s not miss a Beat campaign. The campaign goal is $100,000 to purchase a new cardiac monitoring system for the emergency room.
