AMHERST, N.S. – The independent review panel on hydraulic fracturing in Nova Scotia is coming to Amherst on Tuesday.
Led by Dr. David Wheeler, the panel will be holding a public meeting at the Dominion Public Building (Amherst town hall) from noon to 2 p.m.
The independent panel began its work in the fall of 2013.
The province has placed a moratorium on the controversial practice until after Dr. Wheeler’s panel has completed its work.
