MONCTON, N.B. – A 22-year-old Prince Edward Island man has been arrested in relation to an armed robbery that occurred in a local convenience store on August 6, 2013.
Approximately 25 minutes past midnight, Codiac RCMP members responded to an armed robbery at the Needs located at 1036 Mountain Road in Moncton. A lone man entered the store armed with a knife and threatened the male employee. The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The employee was slightly injured but did not require medical attention.
Marshall Vuozzo was arrested by the Saint John Police Force on Aug. 12 after information was received on his identity. He was returned to Moncton on Aug. 13 and has made two court appearances. On Aug. 14, he was remanded to Sept. 16 to set a date for a bail hearing.
