Public assistance sought in vandalism investigation

CAP-PELÉ, N.B. – District 4 RCMP is seeking the public's assistance with an investigation of vandalism at a campground in Cap-Pelé, N.B.

On Jan. 12, 2013, District 4 RCMP received a complaint of damage to camping trailers  parked at Sandy Beach Tent and Trailer Park on Bas Cap-Pelé Road. The windows and patio doors had been smashed out of several trailers. The total amount of the damage is estimated to be more than $5,000.

District 4 RCMP is asking anyone with information about this incident, or who may have seen suspicious activity around the campground on the days prior to Jan. 12, to contact District 4 RCMP at 506-533-5151 or Crime Stoppers at www.crimenb.ca or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
