Sackville basketball teams earn bronze, silver provincial medals

Two Sackville boys' teams finished off their basketball season strong during provincials this past weekend.

The two teams participated in provincial basketball tournaments, sponsored by Basketball New Brunswick and held across the province on March 13-14.

The Bantam boys (Grades 7 and 8) played host to a tournament at Tantramar Regional High School and were bronze medalists with a win over Miramichi.

The Juvenile boys (grades 11 and 12) finished second with silver medals with a 99-86 loss to the host team in Salisbury.
