Live Bait Theatre seeking participants for upcoming fundraiser

SACKVILLE, N.B. – Live Bait Theatre is presenting a fundraising evening to benefit Live Bait and Tantramar Regional High School Drama.

The “Adults Reading Things They Wrote Before They Were Adults” fundraising evening will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Ducky’s Pub on Bridge Street in Sackville. The event is being hosted by Heather MacIntyre.

Currently people are being recruited to read the stories, diary entries, school reports, and other things they wrote as children. Those who read at the event will receive two free complimentary tickets. People confirmed to read so far include Hicks Lemoine Lawyer Stacey Merrigan and Ron Kelly Spurles, manager of tourism and business development for the Town of Sackville.

In addition to the readings, there will also be a silent auction, featuring items donated by: Scotiabank; Thunder and Lightning; Love is in the Hair; Knuckle's Truffles; Corner Drug; Dawn Boorne RMT; Tidewater Books; Dave's Rock Emporium; Be; and Rod Allen Company, as well as others.
