Sackville galleries hosting The Sweetest Little Thing fundraiser Wednesday

Proceeds contribute directly to ongoing programming at Owens Art Gallery, Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre

SACKVILLE, N.B. – The annual Sweetest Little Thing fundraising art auction returns for its 19th year on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Owens Art Gallery at Mount Allison University.

All are welcome to this much-anticipated event, which is presented by the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Owens Art Gallery, Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre, or Thunder & Lightning Ltd. and at the door.

Proceeds from The Sweetest Little Thing contribute directly to ongoing programming at the Owens Art Gallery and Struts Gallery & Faucet Media Arts Centre.

As always, there will be an abundance of fun and fantastic events that include the ever-popular cake walk, where event goers purchase a ticket to see who wins delectable cakes created by community members, the Instant Lovin’ photo booth, a variety of treats from the Sweet Little Things table and an after party at Thunder & Lightning Ltd., 23 Bridge Street.

Don’t forget about the main event of the night, the silent art auction. Artists from the local, national, and international art community have donated works to be auctioned off throughout the evening.
