FREDERICTON, N.B. – The Department of Health has released two contracts related to the provision of Extra-Mural Program services.
“Our priority was ensuring the contracts were made available to the public as soon as possible while respecting all provisions of the Right to Information and Protection of Privacy Act,” said Health Minister Benoît Bourque. “Your government remains committed to openness and transparency, and we are pleased to share these contracts.”
The public will be able to see how much is being paid to Medavie Health Services New Brunswick to manage the Extra-Mural Program and will also see contract language regarding several issues, including the maximum incentive payouts, as well as termination clauses.
“We have taken steps to ensure that we are being transparent, and I am pleased that, through consultation with the Office of the Integrity Commissioner, we believe we are being as transparent as possible,” said Bourque.
The two agreements are available online: document 1 and document 2.
