SACKVILLE, N.B. – RCMP have been able to confirm the make of the suspect vehicle involved in a hit and run in Sackville on Monday.
On Jan. 15, 2018, shortly after 5:30 p.m., a car at the intersection of Main Street and King Street was attempting to turn left into a parking lot when it was struck from behind by another car. Members of the Sackville RCMP detachment came upon the collision scene shortly afterwards, but the second car had already fled the scene. No one was injured, but the car that was struck had substantial damage.
Through the investigation, the police have determined the suspect vehicle was a burgundy Mazda between 2009 and 2013. The car would have been damaged on the front driver side from the collision.
