Ruby Sophia Beal

1932-2018 The death of Ruby Sophia Beal, 86, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2018. Born in Cookville, Ruby was a daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Kay) Polley. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 68 years, Abner Beal, of Sackville; a daughter, Elizabeth (Bill) Bonnell, of Brantford, ON; a son Earl (Heather) Beal, of Sackville; son-in-law, Raymond Trueman, Truemanville, N.S.; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren, all of whom meant the world to her; a sister, Linda (Neil) Crossman, B.C.; a sister-in-law, Edna Polley, Sackville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Eric, a daughter, Barbara Ann Trueman, as well as her five brothers and sisters. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Ruby's wishes, there is to be no visitation or funeral services at this time. A graveside committal service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Ruby may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
