Concert of Hope planned for Chris Metallic

Members of the Mount Allison and Sackville communities have organized a concert to help to raise funds to increase the reward being offered for information on the whereabouts of missing Mount Allison student Chris Metallic.

The concert will feature many local performers and a wide variety of musical styles, promising something of interest for everyone, and will have an atmosphere of hope and determination to bring Chris home.

It will be held Sunday, Dec. 2, at George's Roadhouse, 67 Lorne St., Sackville N.B., and will start at 1 p.m. and continue through the afternoon. Admission is by donation, and everyone is welcome. Silent auction items, and additional performers (please contact organizers in advance if you can) are also encouraged.

Popular entertainer Marshall Button will be on hand to help move the afternoon along. For further information, and an updated list of performers, visit (or search "Concert of Hope for Chris Metallic") or phone 536-7898.

Let's all hope and pray that this young man is found safe. There should be more media coverage about this here in Nova Scotia. After all, Mount A is close to the border and he might have somehow ended up here and not enough people in NS are aware of this case.
