SACKVILLE, N.B. – The Tantramar Regional High School Lady Titans are pleased to announce the return of the team’s Titan Your Skates high school hockey tournament. The event is scheduled for the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre from Friday, Nov. 17, to Sunday, Nov. 19.

Six teams from across New Brunswick’s high school girls’ ice squads will be in attendance. The event has become a kickoff event for girls’ high school hockey in the province, as participating teams get their first look at teams they may face later in the season.

Some 150 athletes, coaches and team officials, as well as families and fans, make the event a major boost to the Sackville fall sports and tourism calendar. Businesses in the town have become strong supporters of the event and the economic boost to the business sector is growing with each year.

Teams, including Rothesay Red Hawks; Miramichi Valley Pulamoo (Miramichi); James M. Hill Tommies (Miramichi); Clément-Cormier Cavalières (Bouctouche); Carleton North Lady Stars (Bristol) and host Tantramar Lady Titans, will take to the ice.

All games will be played at the civic centre and are scheduled from 4:15 pm Friday through to Sunday’s championship final at 1:45 p.m. Teams play three round-robin matches before the top four finishers advance to the playoff round for semis and finals.
