“The entire cast has been putting their heart and soul into this show since day one and we are so eager to share it with the public,” said Lindsey Tower, student choreographer and one of the leads in the production.

The performers have been busy working on the various musical pieces and scenes since September. Ben Blue, another student who plays a major role in the show, said he has treasured the energy between the students and teachers throughout the progression.

“I believe that the camaraderie between castmates has made the experience so much more enjoyable,” he said. “The effort and time put into the show will make it well worth it.”

Featuring a cast that includes Tantramar high school singers, dancers, the vocal ensemble and a 19-piece pit band, the students will take on the roles of Sandy and Danny, Lumiere, Timon and Pumbaa, Alexander Hamilton and many more in a showcase of song-and-dance numbers that has something for everyone.

“It gives all of the students involved a chance to shine and multiple people an opportunity to take on a lead role,” said Tanya Bostick, music and artistic director of the show.

Bostick said preparing for the show has been a busy, yet rewarding, time for everyone involved. And she is excited to share the final result with local audiences.

“This show has been an incredible experience so far with lots of greatness left to come,” she said.

Jamie Hunter, music director, said she is constantly amazed by the talented performers and musicians at TRHS.

“We are all so thrilled that our show is accompanied by a live band comprised of our own students, which is unique to high school musical programs,” said Hunter.
