SACKVILLE, N.B. — About 400 students will walk across the stage on Monday to receive their degrees during Mount Allison University’s 2019 convocation ceremonies.
Science and commerce students will receive their degrees in the morning ceremony, while arts, fine arts and music students will graduate in the afternoon. Ceremonies will take place at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the university’s Convocation Hall.
University chancellor Lynn Loewen and president Jean-Paul Boudreau will preside over convocation, marking Boudreau’s first convocation ceremony at Mount Allison.
“I am honoured to preside over my first convocation ceremony at Mount Allison,” says Boudreau. “The Class of 2019 has warmly welcomed me to campus this past year and I wish to congratulate them all on their achievements as they embark on their next endeavours.”
