A Halifax police officer has been arrested after a theft at a business in the city was reported on Friday afternoon.
A release from Halifax Regional Police doesn’t contain any details about the officer’s rank or identity. The officer was arrested Friday evening and released on an appearance notice, and in accordance with the Nova Scotia Police Act, suspended with pay.
An investigation is underway, but there is no word yet on a charge or a court appearance.
