SYDNEY, N.S. — A North Sydney man will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday facing charges of multiple thefts across the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Steven Joseph Robinson, 30, is charged with seven counts of theft under $5,000 and 14 breaches of previous court-ordered conditions.
Cape Breton Regional Police charged Robinson as a result of an investigation which identified him as a suspect in a series of reported retail thefts throughout the month of November.
Robinson was located and arrested Friday afternoon. He was remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre.
Police say they will continue to investigate. Additional theft charges are pending.
