GATINEAU, Que. —

Gatineau Police are still looking for a man, originally from Southport N.L., who has been missing since Feb. 16.

In a release issued Feb. 22, Gatineau Police Service says they are trying to find 45year-old Ian Lambert.

They are hoping the public can aid in their search.

According to police, he was last seen leaving a party on foot in the Plateau District near Aylmer, Quebec on Feb. 16 at about 9 p.m. Gatineau Police says it has reason to fear for Lambert’s health and safety and is hoping to check on his well-being.

Lambert is described as:

• White

• Speaks French

• Six-feet, two-inches tall

• Medium build

• Brown hair and eyes

• Has a mole on the upper part of his left cheek

• Was last seen wearing a toque, multi-coloured striped scarf, brown dress coat, a pair of jeans and a backpack.

In an interview with The Packet on Wednesday, Feb. 28, police say they are still looking for Lambert. They didn’t have any further information at that time.
