Daniel "Dan" Sprague

Daniel "Dan" Sprague 1951-2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel "Dan" Edward Sprague, age 66, of Bayfield, NB. On Thursday, January 4, 2018 Daniel passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side after a short battle with Cancer. Born in Cape Tormentine, he was a son of Mary (Fitzpatrick) Sprague of Bayfield, NB, and the late Stanley Sprague. Daniel and his family spent 25 years in the Yukon, working as a miner, then returning to working in flooring after the mine shut down. He returned to Bayfield in 2000, and continued to work in flooring and eventually being a kitchen designer. He was a member of the Westmorland Masonic Lodge #44 F & AM, Port Elgin. In addition to his mother, he will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Elizabeth "Liza", Bayfield; daughter Nicole Sprague, grandson Riley, Red Deer, AB, son Ryan (Renée), grandson Mitchell, Riverview, NB and son Joshua (Jaime Wilson), grandson Max, Ottawa, ON. He was predeceased by his brother Jim Sprague. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241). In keeping with Daniel's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service.
