Ellen Rosalie Angus

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ellen Rosalie Angus, age 96, of Sackville. Rosalie, often known as Ro, passed away, with her loving daughter Jan by her side, on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in St. Stephen, NB she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Edith (Seely) Granville. Ro was a former stenographer, living in Sackville from 1952 - 1970. Upon marrying Howard Angus, they moved to Victoria BC, returning to Sackville in 1990. Ro will be dearly missed by her daughter Jan (Charles) McLeod, Sackville, Sandy Shreve (Bill Twaites), Pender Island, BC; 2 grandsons Travis and Jason (Patricia), 2 great grandchildren Brianna and Kyle Sherriff; sister in law Elaine Granville, St. Stephen, NB; step daughters Patricia Estabrooks, Joan Dicks, Audrey Payne, and Heather Rhodes; as well as numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband’s Jack Shreve and Howard Angus; daughter Carolyn in 1995; brother Richard Granville. Arrangements are under the care and supervision of the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). Ro will be laid to rest beside her husband Jack and daughter Carolyn in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Ro may be made to Cerebral Palsy, the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, or the charity of your choice.
