Gerald 'Gerry' Edmund Goddard

GODDARD, Gerald 'Gerry' Edmund It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Gerald "Gerry" Edmund Goddard, 68, of Sackville, NB on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Earl and Alice (Fisher) Goddard. Gerry was an employee of the Memramcook Golf Club and a dedicated member and volunteer of the Sackville Curling Club. He enjoyed his morning chats at McDonald's with the fellas. He will be dearly missed by his common-law wife, Susan Stokes, Sackville; her children, Robert (Julie) Stokes, Tammy (Dale) Stokes, Katie (Rodney) Tower; grandchildren, Emily, Bradley, Lindsey, Brianna, Aaron and Anabel; two sons, Keith and Mark and their children; two brothers, John and Larry. He was predeceased by a brother, Stuart. Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Gerry's funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2 p.m. from the Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Gerry's memory may do so to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
