1943-2019 - Gloria Catherine LeBlanc, 75, of Maccan, passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Born in River Hebert, NS, Gloria was a daughter of the late Ed and Ruth (O'Brien) Dwyer. In her younger years, she lived in Ontario, she picked fruit for employment, which she really enjoyed. She was always on the phone and loved to talk to her friends and family. She was adamant that her family understand the benefits of a good education and would diligently work with each and every one to ensure that they made the most of their time in school. Gloria was an avid fan of the Maccan Royals Baseball Team, as many of her brothers and other family members had played on it. She loved being surrounded by her family for weekly Sunday dinners, and enjoying a lobster on Mother's Day. She especially loved when the children came to visit and always had a Loonie or two waiting for them.
