James “Jim” Henry Mcelmon

James “Jim” Henry McElmon James “Jim” Henry McElmon age 84 of Lower Maccan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his residence. Born in Fairfield, NB, August 30, 1933, he was a son of the late George and Rachel (Steeves) McElmon. Jim was employed at Enamel Heating Aircraft for many years and later for Department of Highways in Amherst. He owned and operated a used car dealership in Amherst as well. Jim is survived by his children, Sharon and Rodney both of Lower Sackville, NS, Joey, SK, and Aldei, Oshawa, ON. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol (Johnson) and brother, Joseph. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the spring, in the Westcock Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906. Donations can be made in James memory to the charity of your choice.
