BRIDGEWATER, N.S. — A Cape Breton hockey player has served his one-game suspension in the Maritime Junior Hockey League.

Logan O'Neil of Albert Bridge was given the suspension for a second fight in the same stoppage during a game between the South Shore Lumberjacks and the Yarmouth Mariners last Friday in Bridgewater.

O'Neil served the suspension when the Lumberjacks played the Amherst Ramblers in Amherst on Saturday.

In 27 games this season, O'Neil ha nine goals and 28 assists for 37 points. He's currently second on the team in points, behind only Bair Gendunov (39 points).
