SYDNEY, N.S. — Cape Breton Eagles rookie Connor Trenholm was named the team's scholastic player of the month for November.
The 16-year-old is currently attending Sydney Academy while playing for the local Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team.
Trenholm, a Cole Harbour native, has appeared in 29 games with the Eagles this season, recording two assists and nine shots.
The forward was drafted by Cape Breton in the third round, No. 48 overall, at the 2019 QMJHL Entry Draft.
Former Eagle Alex Drover was named the Saint John Sea Dogs' scholastic player of the month for November. He's currently attending Saint John High School.
