RIMOUSKI, Que. — A former Cape Breton Eagles prospect has served a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League suspension.

Forward Mikael Martel of the Rimouski Océanic served a one-game suspension for being an aggressor during a game against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Saturday.

The 18-year-old served the suspension when the Océanic faced the Val-d'Or Foreurs last Sunday.

In 28 games this season, Martel, a fourth-round pick by Cape Breton in 2017, has one goal and 32 penalty minutes.
