The 2014 Museums Across the Marsh will be held Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, offering area residents a chance to visit seven local museums for one low price – $4 per person or a family pass for $10.

There are seven museums involved: Keillor House and St. James Textile Museum in Dorchester; Boultenhouse Heritage Centre and Campbell Carriage Factory Museum in Sackville, the Monro Heritage Centre in Port Elgin, the Cumberland County Museum and Archives in Amherst, and the Fort Beausejour-Fort Cumberland National Historic Site in Aulac.

Fort Beausejour-Fort Cumberland doesn't officially open until June 27, so, while visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, they can't purchase passports there.

Museums are open from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. both days.  The Boultenhouse Heritage Centre’s new RCAF exhibit will also be open over the weekend weekend.
