As Chris Metallic’s family and friends continue to search the Sackville area for any signs of their 20-year-old son, and as winter starts to close in, local RCMP met with some of the family members on Tuesday in the Upper Sackville area, where Chris was last seen, to provide them with an in-depth overview of the police search efforts (aerial, ground and dive searches were conducted) during the first week-and-a-half after he went missing.
The official RCMP search was suspended on Dec. 4 and local investigators say they haven’t turned up any new clues since finding his shoes and footprints near the Upper Aboujagne Road area a few days after his disappearance.
No one has heard from Chris since the early-morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 25. Described as aboriginal, six feet tall, 180 lbs, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes, Chris was said to be wearing a shiny bright blue zip-up hoodie, jeans and flip-flops when he went missing.
