The Tantramar area, being hit with spring rains today, is experiencing some flooding in a number of areas as the rain mixes with the tides coming in as well as the spring thaw. The Queens Road/Route 106 intersection (towards Frosty Hollow) has been closed as tidal waters continue to pour over the road there, causing motorists to have to drive down King Street to get to Sackville for school or work. Schools have sent students home early as concern continues to rise about possible King Street flooding.

I thought it was illegal for a school bus to cross roads where the water covered the road? I see passengers on-board in the picture and that road was eroding from the water flow, hence the later repairs that were necessary.
